Rural Schools Network
Pursuing five new projects in which members may participate: 1) production and distribution of a monograph on place-based project learning; 2) production and distribution of a monograph on best practices in science education for rural teachers; 3) development of a web-based model for analyzing the sustainability of rural schools and communities; 4) creation of an inter-classroom video telecollaboration project; and 5) an inter-school “walkathon” health and fitness project.
